Dale V. Fandrey, age 86, of Toledo, Ohio passed away on July 2, 2017 at Ebeid Hospice Center. He was born on July 21, 1930 in Toledo, Ohio to Otto and Mathilda Fandrey. Dale was a graduate of Central Catholic High School, The University of Toledo, and proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. Following his discharge, he was employed at Auto-Lite and AP Parts as an Industrial Engineer. He was a member of Little Flower Catholic Church. Dale was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather and will be dearly missed.
Dale is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Eileen (Keogh); children, Susan (Brian) Clark, David (Beverly) Fandrey, Mary Fandrey, Michael (Julie) Fandrey, and Cathleen (David) McCutchen; grandchildren Melissa, Tricia, Brendan, Ashley, Kelly, Kevin (Chelsea), Katelyn, Kristen, Karly, Emily (Jefferey), Matthew, Christa, Hannah, Caeli, Joshua, and Natalie ; 3 great grandchildren; and brother Daniel (Sheila) Fandrey. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Richard Fandrey, Ruth Hile and granddaughter Megan Fandrey.
Family and friends may visit at Thomas I. Wisniewski Funeral Home 2426 North Reynolds Road on July 5th from 4PM to 7PM. The rosary will be recited at 7PM. A Mass will take place on July 6th at Little Flower Catholic Church at 10AM. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Little Flower Catholic Church.
