Iona V. Plodzik Winston

Iona V. Plodzik Winston, 87, of Toledo, OH passed away peacefully at home on Monday, February 26, 2018. Iona was born on November 11, 1930 in Marion County, WV to Homer and Netta (Coss) Riggs. She was employed and retired from Motor Wheels Industries.

Left to cherish Iona's memory are her children, Josephine Allen, Mary Plodzik, John (Lori) Plodzik, James Plodzik, Walter Plodzik, Ronald Plodzik, Douglas Plodzik, Thomas Winston, Len (Nicole) Winston, Dana (Brenda) Winston; 20 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Eleanor Riggs and William Riggs; sons, Edward Plodzik and Michael Plodzik; grandson, Jason Plodzik.

Services will be held at the Thomas I. Wisniewski Funeral Home, 2426 N. Reynolds Rd., Toledo, OH 43615 with interment at the Historic Woodlawn Cemetery on Saturday, March 3, 2018. There will be a viewing beginning at 10:00 a.m. with service to follow at 12:00 noon.
