Judith A. (Rahe) Jobuck

Judith Ann Jobuck, 78, of Toledo, passed away March 17, 2017 at home after a long illness.  Judy was born in Toledo to Raymond and Marguerite (Lark) Rahe on May 17, 1938.  A lifelong resident of Toledo, she graduated from Central Catholic High School in 1956 and later attended the University of Toledo.  She worked as the Director of Donor Resources at the American Red Cross for 24 years until her retirement in 1992. She married Edward Jobuck in September of 1956 and they celebrated 50 years together prior to his death in 2006. They enjoyed many years of camping at Waffle Farms in Coldwater, Michigan. She was an avid reader, loved to crochet, play computer games and enjoyed watching classic movies.  Judy was also preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Marguerite; and her brother, Ronald.  Judy is survived by daughters, Michelle (Mark) Bartkowiak, and Melinda Tulak of Toledo, and Micki (Mike) Thornton of Corydon, Indiana; eight grandchildren, Kate (Jessica) Bartkowiak, Eric Bartkowiak, and  Andrew Bartkowiak, Doug (Alison) Tulak, Ed Tulak, Andrea (Mike) Potts, Chelsea Thornton, and Jennifer Culliford Thornton; and  two great-grandchildren, Lillie Bartkowiak and Kaeden Potts; her brother, Thomas (Sandy) Rahe; sisters, Rae “Beth” Rahe, and Deborah (Kevin) McCreight; and many cousins, in-laws, very special nieces and nephews. Judy also leaves behind her beloved dachshunds, constant companions and a source of comfort to her during her  final days.  The family would like to thank those who helped to provide loving care for Judy:  the staff at Heartland of Waterville, Janice, Elise and Alyssa from Ohioans, and Cindy from Grace Hospice. A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 25, at Toledo Mennonite Church, 5501 Nebraska, Toledo, Ohio with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. and services at 11:00 a.m. 419-531-4424. www.wisniewskifuneral.net
