Margaret M. Popp, age 78, passed to new life on Wednesday, June 21, 2017. She was born November 9, 1938 to Loretta and Alva Green in Toledo, Ohio. She graduated from Libbey High School in 1956 and became employed by The Toledo Hospital, the Avalon Bowling Alley and Sofo Foods. Margaret married her loving husband, Joseph “Ernie” Popp, in 1964 and enjoyed 30 years together before his death in 1994. She was a member of Little Flower Catholic Church and enjoyed bowling, card games and dog walks with Bailey. In addition to her parents and spouse, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Mary, Patricia, Carolyn, Donna, Dorothy and Thomas. She is survived by her sister, Elizabeth; brother, James (Velma); sister, Bernadette (James); a host of nieces and nephews, and her friend, Sue. Visitation will be on Monday, June 26 from 3 until 7 p.m. in the Thomas I. Wisniewski Funeral Home, 2426 North Reynolds Rd. (419-531-4424) with a scripture service at 6:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday at 11 a.m. in Little Flower Catholic Church, where the family will receive friends beginning at 10:30 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.
