Marlene M. Piorkowski, age 74, passed away on October 1, 2017 at the Ebeid Hospice Residence surrounded by her loving family. Marlene was born in Toledo on January 27, 1943 to Chester and Alice (Jeziorski) Jagielski. She was employed by St. Luke’s Hospital as a switchboard supervisor for over 40 years. She enjoyed her job and all of the wonderful friends she worked with. She also enjoyed watching the Detroit Tigers, crafting, and traveling with friends and family. Marlene especially enjoyed spending time with
her children and grandchildren. Her grandchildren meant the world to her. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Richard; brother, Ronald Jagielski; brother-in-law, Robert Schneider; and motherin-law and father-in-law, Gertrude and Walter Piorkowski. Surviving are her children, Mark, Todd, Kim (Gary) Paprocki and Tracy (Andy) Rodriguez; grandchildren, Alex, Kelsey, Aaron, Kylie and Kamron; siblings, Judy (Ken) Edinger, Ruth Schneider, Mike (Sue) Jagielski, Phil Jagielski and Denise (Ed) Latkofsky; sisters-inlaw, Cheryl (Jack) Emmitt and Dorothy Jagielski; and several nieces and nephews.
