Nancy R. (Groszewski) Kesling

Nancy R. Kesling, age 85 of Toledo, OH died July 20, 2017 in the St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center. Born in Toledo, the daughter of John and Stella Kowalski Groszewski, she was a proud graduate of Woodward High School, “the great class of 1950”. She married Carl H. Kesling on June 7, 1952 in St Luke’s Lutheran Church. Her leisure activities included gardening, bicycling,
walking, league bowling and trips to the family cottage at Black Lake. She was also a past member of Christ Lutheran Church. Preceding her in death are her parents; brother, Melvin Groszewski; and niece, Marilyn Sue Groszewski. Surviving are her husband, Carl H. Kesling; sister, Kathleen (Robert) Mowery; many nieces and nephews who were like her children and loved her dearly. Visitation will be held Monday, July 24, 2017 from 3 to 8 p.m. in the Thomas I. Wisniewski Funeral Home, 2426 N. Reynolds Road with services on Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at 10 a.m. Interment Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. Memorial tributes suggested to the local office of Paws and Whiskers and the Alzheimer’s Association of Northwest Ohio.
