Steven F. Goldsmith

Steven F. Goldsmith, 61, of Toledo passed away suddenly Friday, November 4, 2016, at Toledo Hospital. Steven was preceded in death by his parents, Earl M. Goldsmith and Betty  J. (Welsheimer) Goldsmith; sister, Carol (Goldsmith) Polter; and grandson, John Scott Goldsmith. He is survived by his loving wife, Debbie Goldsmith; sister, Bonnie (Russ) McCue; brother, Earl M. (Becky) Goldsmith; children, Michael C. Goldsmith, John D. (Tammy) Goldsmith, Timothy F. Goldsmith, Rob (Jen) Goldsmith, Kaylee (Robert) Mullins; 15 grandchildren; and one great grandson. Steven attended Whitmer High School after which he proudly served in the  National Guard. Steven’s nickname “Mr. Limo” was given to him as the owner/operator of Sylvania Limousine Service. He loved to travel the country, be outdoors and care for any wild animals that entered his backyard. One of his favorite things to do was walk with his son, Mike and his fur baby, Lanie, at Wildwood Metropark. Most of all he loved spending time with his  family. His passion was playing the drums in the praise and worship team for his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, at Northwest Christian Church where he was a friend, brother and mentor. Steven was truly loved by all and will be dearly missed. Family and friends may visit at Northwest Christian Church, 1590 W. Temperance Road, Temperance, MI 48182 on Wednesday, November 9, 2016, from 2 p.m. until the time of the service at 6 p.m. Those wishing an expression of sympathy in Steven’s name are asked to, in lieu of flowers, consider a monetary donation to his memorial fund.
