Donald L. Dilley

Donald L. Dilley, age 90, passed away November 18, 2018 at Flower Hospital, Sylvania. He was born on October 1, 1928 to Albert A. and Rachel (Morrow) Dilley in Toledo. A 1947 graduate of Woodward High School, Don was a longtime member of its alumni group. He met his sweetheart, Patricia A. Urbanowski while at Woodward, and they were married on September 16, 1950 at St. Hedwig Catholic Church.

Don's working career included the Burndy Corp from 1947-1974 as a plastics mold room foreman; 1974-1987 at Quikut in Fremont as a manufacturing manager and from 1987-1994 with Polycraft in Wauseon, where he was a superintendent and plant manager. Most important to Don was his family, and he cherished every moment with them.

Surviving is his wife Patricia A. Dilley; son David S. (Sandra) Dilley, daughter Christine (Roger) Ullom; grandchildren, Deanna Dilley, Kyle (Brian) Cook and Taylor Ullom and great granddaughter Carter Maria Cook. He was preceded in death by grandson, Adam Donald Ullom and siblings, Hazel Conway, Edna Reese, Doris Greene, Russell Dilley, Richard Dilley, Ruth Johnston, Betty Dutcher and Vernon Dilley.

Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. On Saturday November 24 at the Chapel of Memories at Toledo Memorial Park, Sylvania, Ohio.

Don was truly a kind, sweet man who was loved and will be missed.
