Dorothy A. Radon of Sylvania, OH passed away Saturday, April 7, 2018 at the age of 91. Born in Toledo, daughter of Anthony and Anna Skiba, she was married to Edward P. Radon who preceded her in death in 1991. In addition to her parents, also preceding her in death were sisters, Sally T. Jendrich and Clementine (Tina) Skiba and brother, Norman A. Skiba.

Surviving are her children, Carl E., Maryalice, and Paul A. (Amy) Radon; grandchildren, Jennifer (Craig) Szczublewski, Julie (Adrian) Beach, Marc and Michael Radon, Alissa Tambone, Joseph, Alexander, Nicholas and Catherine Radon, and great-grandchildren, Oona Marie and Truman T. Beach.She was a parishioner of St. Joseph Church-Toledo, a member of the VFW Post 5530 and past president of their auxiliary. She also served as secretary and treasurer for several terms. She was actively involved in the pro-life movement for over 30 years. A lifelong wife and mother, she loved to cook for her family and provided for them in countless other nurturing ways. She was interested in current events, and remained an avid reader.Mom was happiest when doing for others, including sharing her creative and artistic talents. Her generosity and sincere interest in others were shown to family, friends, favored charities, staff and residents of Kingston Care Center of Sylvania. Her surviving family appreciates those who took the time to know and care for her. Funeral services through Thomas I. Wisniewski Funeral Home were private at Dorothy's request. A funeral liturgy was celebrated at St. Joseph Church, Toledo on April 11, 2018. Interment Mount Carmel Cemetery.Memorial tributes are suggested in the form of donations to St. Joseph Church-Toledo (Locust St.), with a mailing address of 3233 Lagrange St., Toledo, OH 43608, the pro-life organization of the donor's choice, or another charity which focuses on the needs of children.
