Loving Mother, Grandmother, Wife, and Dedicated Nurse.

Frona Jane Walters passed Sunday, July 8, 2018. She was born July 19, 1943, married and had three children. While her children were young, she studied to become a registered nurse and worked in the Toledo Hospital Emergency Room for 20 years, helping those who were critically injured and training medical students. Eventually, she transitioned to occupational health nursing and retired from Owens Corning in 1997.

She will be dearly missed by her friends and family including her husband, Gary Walters, children Heidi, Steve, and Rebecca Liebes, and 11 total grandchildren including Joshua and Nina Liebes. 

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Association of Northwestern Ohio. A memorial service will be held at Robert H. Wick / Wisniewski Funeral Home, 2426 N. Reynolds Rd., Toledo, on Tuesday, July 10, 2018, at 4:00 pm.
