Helen M. (Pereus) Gozdowski

Helen M. Gozdowski, age 91, of Sylvania, OH died Friday, July 13, 2018 at the Goerlich Center in Sylvania. She was born in Toledo on December 3, 1926 to Stephen and Angeline (Bach) Pereus. Helen had worked at Smith's Cafeteria in the 1960's and was a member of Little Flower Catholic Church for over 60 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene E. Gozdowski in September of 2005.

Surviving are her sons, Gary J. (Nellie) Gozdowski and Eugene Gozdowski, Jr.; grandchildren, Brittany (Andrew) Fischer, Matthew, Lindsey, Tamara, Samantha, Chelsea and Taylor Gozdowski; and a number of great-grandchildren.

The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday July 18, 2018, at 2:00 p.m. in Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 6149 Hill Avenue, where the family will receive friends at 1:00 p.m. that morning. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Memorial donations are suggested to Hospice of NW Ohio.
