Marjory R. (Stark) Rusgo

Marjory R. Rusgo, 83, of Toledo, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Friday, December 15, 2017, at Ebeid Hospice Residence. Margie was born on April 9, 1934, in Toledo, Ohio to Harry and Rose (Applebaum) Stark. Margie was a graduate of Scott High School. She attended The Ohio State University and graduated with a degree in education. After graduation she met and married the love of her life, Dr. Harmon J. Rusgo, D.D.S. They were married on June 23, 1957 and remained in Toledo where they raised four boys. Through the years, Margie and Harmon enjoyed traveling together, hosting card clubs, and volunteering with numerous organizations. They were active members of Congregation B'nai Israel where they served on various committees. Margie was a homemaker and was extremely involved in her children's lives. From cheering her children at all their sporting events to helping in the classroom, Margie encouraged her children in all aspects of their lives. When her children were all in school, Margie could often be found lending a hand in Harmon's dental practice. Years after her husband's death, Margie found companionship with Harlan Getman, and they spent several years traveling and enjoying each other's company. During those years, a fond relationship grew between the Getman and Rusgo families.

Margie was a kind, caring, generous and loving person; she will truly be missed by all who knew her. Marjory was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Harmon J. Rusgo; her parents; brother, Dr. Gerald Stark, and companion, Harlan Getman. Surviving are her devoted children whom she referred to as her jewels, sons, Alan B. (Jill), Steven A. (Peggy), Richard D. (Rene), and Robert S. (Julie); grandchildren, Josh, Hannah, Matthew, Crystal, Zoe, Benjamin, Adam, Elayna, Emily; great-grandchildren, Kayla, Jacob, Tim, Lilah and numerous nieces, nephews and family.

Services will be held Monday, December 18, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. in the Robert H. Wick/Wisniewski Funeral Home, 2426 N. Reynolds Rd. Interment Beth Shalom Cemetery Oregon, Ohio. Following services and through Wednesday evening receiving will be in the home of Rene and Richard Rusgo Sylvania, Ohio, with a prayer service on Monday at 6:30 p.m.
