Mark Frey went home to his Lord and Savior and heavenly family on April 30, 2018. His loving family was by his side. He was born November 14, 1949 to Herbert and Joline Frey. Mark graduated from DeVilbiss High School and the University of Toledo, College of Business.
Mark was a servant of God, attended Redeemer Lutheran Church as a youth, an active member of Zoar Lutheran Church and served on many non-profit Boards. At Genacross (formerly Lutheran Homes Society) he was the original Director of the Wolf Creek Campus and served on numerous committees; President of Camp Courageous and the Arc of NW Ohio; Lutheran Social Services; and Holland-Springfield Rotary. He was a Broker/Realtor (Danberry Realtors) for over 30 years and enjoyed traveling, especially to Hilton Head Island.
He leaves behind his loving wife of 45 years, Shirley (Thompson); children, Eric and Kevin; sisters, Chris (Daryl) Glenn and Karen (Patrick) Holben; brother, Bob (Debbie) Frey; brother-in-law, Ed (Judy) Thompson; and many nieces, nephews and close friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be held Sunday, May 6, 2018 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Thomas I. Wisniewski Funeral Home, 2426 N Reynolds Rd., Toledo, OH. A Celebration of Mark's life will be Monday, May 7, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Zoar Lutheran Church, 314 E Indiana Ave., Perrysburg, OH. Memorial contributions may be made to Camp Courageous and the Arc of NW Ohio or Zoar Lutheran Church.
