Dick Green, 76, prominent financial advisor in Toledo for 53 years, passed away peacefully Tuesday in Columbus, OH.
Dick graduated in 1963 from The Ohio State University. In 1967, he graduated from the University of Toledo College of Law.
Dick began his career in the securities industry in 1965, with Foster Bros Weber & Co, and for the past 53 years, he successfully provided sound financial advice to his many clients. Prior to joining UBS in 2003, Dick was Senior VP of Investments at Prudential Securities for 25 years, where he received numerous awards as a continual 20 year member at their prestigious Chairman's Council.
Throughout his career, Dick has been active with the Toledo community offering his wealth management expertise to many local agencies and synagogueswhile serving on their boards.
He is loved and survived by his wife, Laurie; daughters, Missy (Ronnie) Nanberg, Betsy Green, and Meredith (Josh) Smalley; sons, Ben (Era) Green and Bryan (Megan) Frankel; grandchildren, Sydney, Justin, Azzi, Isla, and Madeline; brother, Donald (Elaine) Green.
Services will be held Friday, June 8 at 11:00 a.m. at Temple Shomer Emunim, 6453 West Sylvania Ave., Sylvania, OH 43560.
