Ronald Stuart Goldman

Ronald Stuart Goldman, a longtime resident of Hollywood and Pembroke Pines, Florida, and formerly of Toledo, Ohio, passed away on May 31, 2017. Ron, the son of Ida (Mostov) and Beryl Goldman, was born in Toledo, Ohio July 3, 1943. He grew up in Toledo and was a graduate of DeVilbiss High School (1961) and of the University of Toledo (1966) and served his country in the Ohio Air National Guard from 1966 through 1972. He was a salesman all of his adult life and traveled extensively in his work. He later relocated to the greater Miami-Ft. Lauderdale area. Ron will be remembered as a kind and gentle man, whose joy for life and exuberance were infectious, and whose great passion was music. He was a member of numerous local jazz bands where he played the drums. In his later years, at the sound of music he was always ready to dance. Ron is survived by his brother, Rabbi Edward Goldman (Roanete Naamani) of Cincinnati, Ohio; his niece, Dalia Naamani Goldman Katz (Andrew); and nephew, Ari Naamani Goldman. His numerous and loving cousins of the Mostov family, originally of Toledo, took great care of him in his later years always honoring his caring and loving nature. Among them are James Akers of Chicago, IL, Joan Akers Binkow of Ann Arbor, MI, Charles Mostov of Los Angeles, CA, and Susan Hartman Muska of Toledo. He had many friends, among them his “adopted” cousin, Stanley Krawetz of Sarasota FL and his caretaker and dedicated friend, Grace Pawlowska of Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Graveside services will be held Sunday, June 4, at noon at Woodlawn Cemetery, Toledo. The family will receive friends immediately following services through 7:00 p.m. at the home of Nicholas and Susan Hartman Muska.   www.wickfh.com
