Roza Daykhovskaya, age 86 years, a longtime resident of Pelham Manor died Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at Ebeid Hospice Residence in Sylvania, OH. Roza was born on March 29, 1931 in Ukraine to Boris and Maria (Barkan) Kolzenko. She had worked as a secretary in the Agricultural Community in Ukraine and survived World War II in the ghetto. She settled in Toledo in 1993 with her husband Yankel Daykhovskiy, who preceded her in death on October 4, 1995. Surviving is her son, Yuliy (Natalia) Daykhovskiy; grandchildren, Maya Kale and Jenny Daykhovskiy; great-grandchildren Jack, Henry and Alice Kale; and brothers, Nahum and Vladinir Kolzenko.Services and interment will be held at 12 Noon on Friday, September 29 at Historic Woodlawn Cemetery. Family and friends will gather at 11:00 a.m. Friday at the Robert H. Wick/Wisniewski Funeral Home, 2426 North Reynolds Rd. (419-5355840) to form a procession to the cemetery. Following services the family will receive friends at the Women’s Club on Woodley Road.
