Viola (Shoichet) Miller

Viola Shoichet Miller passed away on August 31, 2018 at the age of 101 years.

She is survived by her daughter, Nora Romanoff (Dr. Eli Abramson) and her son Teddy Miller (Kay); her grandchildren, Joel Beren (Linda), Debbie Diamond (Stuart), Samuel Miller, Leah Miller and Adam Segall (Elyse); as well as ten great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren; also surviving is her sister, Sylvia Miller Lawson.

Preceded in death by her husband, Phillip H. Miller; daughter, Marcia Grimson; and brother, Arnold Schafer. She was a longtime member of the Congregation B'Nai Israel.

Private services will be held for the family.

Visitation will be at the home of Nora Romanoff and Dr. Eli Abramson on Sunday, September 2 from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. and on Monday, September 3 from 1:00 until 4:00 p.m.

The family wishes to acknowledge the kindness and loving care given to Viola by the staff at the Franciscan Care Center with a special thanks to Sister Jordan. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Congregation B'Nai Israel, where Viola was a member for many years.
