Andrew I. Sattler passed away on April 9, 2026, after a short illness. He passed
peacefully. He was born in the Bronx, New York, to Shirley and Seymour Sattler. He was
local to the Toledo area for over 40 years. Sadly, his loving wife of forty years, Lynnette Sattler, preceded his death on March 16, 2026.
He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Peter and Diane Sattler of City
Island, New York.
He is also survived by his son and daughter-in-law Chris and Jenny Baldwin, daughter
Andrea Olstad and grandchildren Julia and Jon.
Andy's under-graduate studies were completed at SUNY at New Paltz as well as a
year at Tel Aviv University in Israel and earned a graduate degree in psychology from St.
Johns University. Andy spent over 30 years as a school psychologist with the Toledo Board
of Education. He was a longtime and active member of the Congregation B'Nai Israel in
Sylvania, Ohio.
Graveside services will be held Monday, April 13, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at the Beth
Shalom Cemetery, Oregon, Ohio. A shiva meal will be served at the synagogue following the
ceremony.
