Bettina Stone Obituary

Tina Pollock (Romanoff) Stone passed away on Monday July 22 after a brief illness.  Tina was born in Jamaica Queens, NY on 3/6/1937.  Tina graduated from Walnut Hills High School in Cincinnati and attended The Ohio State University where she met her first husband, Jack Romanoff Jr..  Tina is survived by her children, Julie Romanoff (Paul LaPoint), Jill (Jeff) Marder, and Jay (Mindy) Romanoff.  Tina was the proud Grandmother and Great Grandmother to Amy (Nati) Somogye Israel, Lynn Somogye, Brad Somogye, Mandy Somogye, Jessica (Jake) Marder Ellis, Jenna (Curtis) Marder Peoples, Oliva (Aaron) Romanoff Goldhoff, Jack Romanoff and his fiancé Alyssa Sloan, Dylan Israel, Juliet and Jasper Ellis, Rory Goldhoff, and Mazzy Peoples.
 Tina was a very friendly and outgoing person who made friends everywhere she went.  After living in Toledo for 25 years, she lived in South Florida for 40 years.  Toledo returned to Toledo 5 years ago after her 2nd husband, Jack Stone passed away.  Tina was a resident of Oak Leaf Village.
 Tina is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Gertrude Pollock.
 Tina is survived by her sister Lee (Carl) Van Gorden and her brother Steve (Karen) Pollock.
 The family would like to thank the staff of Oak Leaf Village for the fine care she received as a resident and the staff of Flower Hospital, especially her nurses Abby and Jasmine.
 A memorial service for Tina will be held at 11:30 AM on Friday July 26th at the Temple Shomer Emunim 6453 Sylvania Ave in Sylvania, OH.  A luncheon in her honor will be held after the service at the Temple.  Tina’s final resting place will be with her husband, Jack, in South Florida.
