Betty L. (Hale) Protos

Betty L. Protos, age 71 years, passed away on September 1, 2025, at the Toledo Hospital. She was born in Sharon, PA, on January 9, 1954, to Margaret (McClish) and Merle Hale.

She had worked for many years as a secretary with Toledo Christian School and later at Financial Express.

Surviving is her husband, John; and their sons, Andrew and Matthew. Also surviving are sisters, Linda Bain and Cheryl O'Rourke.

The family will receive friends on Friday, September 5, 2025, beginning at 10:00 a.m., in the Thos. I. Wisniewski Funeral Home, 2426 N. Reynolds Rd., Toledo, OH 43615, where the funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Toledo Memorial Park.

Memorial donations are suggested to the American Cancer Society of NW Ohio.
