Carmela M (Pinciotti) Frazier, 99, passed away peacefully at home Thursday, July 24, 2025, joining her husband of 69 years Verl E Frazier, who proceeded her in death in 2016.
She was born on November 16, 1925, the daughter of the late Frank and Alma Pinciotti, who were from Castle Castagua province of Terramo, Abruzzi, Italy before settling in Toledo, Ohio, where Carmela was raised with her five siblings.  Carmela graduated from Central Catholic High School (1945).
Carmela stayed at home raising their seven children.  While home, she spent her time with family and friends, shopping, spending time at their Cottage at Wamplers Lake and she loved spending time in the kitchen cooking and baking.  Carmela and Verl loved to travel to Florida and they made several trips to Las Vegas.  She worked at the University of Toledo as a Receptionist in the Admissions Office for 19 years where she was known as  “Mother Superior”.  She loved talking to the students, and, as an avid bowler, she joined the University Women’s Bowling League, competing for over 10 years.
Carmela and Verl were committed to raising their seven children, Tom (Chris) Frazier, Tim (Laura) Frazier, Richard (Ann-deceased) (Jamie Matuszak) Frazier, Sandra (Chuck-deceased) Johnson, Bill (Margaret) Frazier, Ann (Dennis) Paszczykowski and Nan (John) Crooks.   Carmela was blessed with 18 Grandchildren, 36 Great Grandchildren and 4 Great Great Grandchildren.
Besides her parents, Carmela was proceeded in death by her sister Teresa (Harold) Calmes, brothers Don Pinciotti, Anthony (Angie) Pinciotti and Frank Pinciotti.  She is survived by her brother, Gabriel (Lucy) Pinciotti and her sister-in-law Kathleen (Robert) Frazier.
A Memorial Service will be celebrated Saturday, August 2, 2025 at 10:00  a.m. in Little Flower Church where family and friends will be received beginning at 9:00 a.m.
Many thanks to all the family and friends who helped care for Carmela so she could live at home, and thanks to Carmela’s granddaughter Amy for caring for her as well.  Memorial tributes suggested in the form of donations to Little Flower Church or Hospice of Northwest Ohio.   Arrangements by Wisniewski Funeral Home.
