Carol Ann (Mielcarek) Konieczka

Carol Ann Konieczka, age 90, of Toledo, passed away peacefully on February 22, 2024. She was born on November 21, 1933, to Frank and Stella (Rybarczyk) Mielcarek in Toledo. Carol proudly fulfilled her dream of being a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a longtime active member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, donating her time working at the chicken dinners, Monday night bingo and church festivals.
Carol was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Stanley, her brother, Daniel Mielcarek, and sisters, Lucille Paszczykowski and Evelyn Operacz.
Surviving are her children, Marie (Rick) Furfure, Michael J. Konieczka, Michelle (Keith) Kazmierczak, Madeline Odom and Matthew (Rhonda) Konieczka; grandchildren, Yvonne, Megan, Katie, David (Amy), Amanda (Jeremy), Angela (Luis), Nicholas, Hannah, and Paul; step grandchildren, John, Keith and Jessica and great-grandchildren, Reece, Connor, Fayth, Dylan, Gabriel, Elaina, Stella and Amelia, and sister-in-law Joanne Bailey.
The family will receive friends on Monday, February 26, 2024, from 3:00 until 8:00 p.m. in the Thos. I. Wisniewski Funeral Home 2426 North Reynolds Rd. Toledo, OH. 43615. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 27, 2024, at 10:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church 6149 Hill Ave. Toledo, where friends are asked to gather beginning at 10:00 a.m. that morning.
