DAVID M. RAY "Kielbasa Kid"

David M. Ray, age 61, of Toledo passed away on October 20, 2018 in his home. He was born on July 24, 1957 to Matthew and Shirley (Paluch) Ray.

David had worked for 19 years at the Value City store in Maumee and retired from Dairy Mart in Holland, OH due to declining health issues. He enjoyed such things as Cousino Club, Club 16 and talking on the "CB" radio for many years making many friends. He was known as the Kielbasa Kid or KK. He met his wife Susan through friends of the CB radio. At Christmas he enjoyed being Santa for various clubs and friends. He enjoyed following "Just Us Two" band and was a lifetime member of the fan club. He loved country music.

His greatest joys in life were camping with his wife and their fur buddy, Jake. He loved golf cart rides and having campfires. He enjoyed spending the weekends at Twin Acres Campground and the wonderful friends and memories they made.

He was preceded in death by his parents, special uncle Robert Paluch and fur buddy Jake. He is survived by his wife Susan, fur buddy Maggie Mae and special family and friends.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Monday October 29, 2018 in the Thos. I. Wisniewski Funeral Home, 2426 North Reynolds Rd. (419-531-4424), where the funeral service will be held at 6:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the family would be appreciated.
