Delores A. (Proch) Groch

Delores A. Groch, age 90 years, of Sylvania, Ohio, passed away peacefully on November 22, 2022, at the Ebeid Promedica Hospice.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Norman J. Groch. Delores is survived by her son, David P. Groch (Corinne); daughter, Becky S. Tucker (Theodore); and grandsons, Nicholas P. Groch, Theodore B. Tucker, IV, Matthew B. Tucker (Katie) and Kyle D. Tucker.

"Momo" spent several years providing loving care for her husband "Poppie" until his death in 2016.

She enjoyed time with her family and Momo and Poppie spent many hours attending the sporting and other activities of their grandchildren. Friends and teammates of their grandchildren grew accustom to the presence of "Momo" and "Poppie".They also took several trips visiting their grandchildren at the college each attended and never missed a graduation.

Momo and Poppie were consistently supportive of everyone in the family and as Dave put it "They always did the best they could".

We appreciate all they did for us and should have told them so more often.

The last few years Momo (or "D" as they called her) made many friends at Alexis Gardens. She enjoyed her time spent with them engaging in activities, sharing meals or just having a conversation.

The family also wants to express gratitude to the staffs at Alexis Gardens and Ebeid Promedica Hospice who cared for Momo the last few years and during her recent illness,

Suggestion: If you are grateful to someone in your life, tell them so today.

We will miss you "Momo", we love you and may you rest in peace.

Memorials in honor of Delores and expressions of sympathy may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
