Our husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle and friend passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 22, 2023, with his loving family by his side. He was born to Helen and Casper Lubinski on August 24, 1933, attended Martin School and Sylvania Burnham High School. He served in the United States Army and then worked for Ohio Bell / AT&T for 41 years, starting as a lineman.
He loved all sports whether playing or spectating with a soft spot for the Tigers and Lions. His joy was music, and he was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes choir since its inception for over 35 years, the drummer in the 4 D's Polka Band and has always played a mean harmonica. He was Mr. Fix-it-man for the family and any friends that needed him. He will be missed.
Visitation is on January 28th at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 6149 Hill Ave. with the funeral Mass at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Our Lady of Lourdes building program or Promedica Hospice Care with a special thank you to his granddaughter, Kerrie, and her co-workers. Surviving him are his loving wife of 66 years, Delphine; his sons, Kenneth (Mary Lou), Kevin (Maria), Eric (Brenda); and his daughter, Lori. He also loved his 15 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren with another on the way.
