Dorothy J. (Lykens) Rymers, age 81, passed away on Thursday April 29, 2021 at Ebeid Hospice in Sylvania, Ohio. She was born on January 1, 1940 in Hunter, Kentucky to Willard and Lucy (Martin) Lykens.
Surviving is her husband, Delbert J. Rymers; her son, James Mitchell (Tammy); grandchildren, Joni Adamski (Todd), James Mitchell II, Craig Jr., Heather, Courtney, Dasha and Rachel; great-grandchildren, Jason, Jeremy and Laylann; along with her sisters, Clara and Wanda. Preceded in death by six siblings, Howard, Homer, Herman, Hubert, Emma Grace and Lorraine. Also preceded in death by grandchildren, Scott and Danielle; and daughter, Beth. Many nieces and nephews also survive.
Dorothy loved gardening with her roses and vegetables, camping, cooking and annual trips to Florida. -You may be gone from my sight but will never be gone from my heart.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday May 4, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. in the Thos. I. Wisniewski Funeral Home, 2426 North Reynolds Rd. Toledo, OH. 43615. The funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m. with interment to follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
