Frederick E. Burns

Frederick E. Burns, age 93, of Toledo died on September 3, 2026 in his home. He was born in Fostoria, Ohio on September 26, 1932 to Evelyn (Arend) and Albert J. Burns.

He was a proud Air Force veteran serving during the Korean War.

Fred was an electrician for 32 years with Libbey Owens Ford and in retirement he owned and operated Burns Electric. He was a member of Little Flower Catholic Church, Holland Post #646 American Legion, the Knights of Columbus Bishop Hoffman Assembly and VFW post 646. He was an avid bowler and golfer.

Surviving is his wife Pamela Kay, sister Eugenia Kronbach and numerous extended family members. He was preceded in death by daughter Michelle Reiter and three siblings.

Friends may call on Thursday, September 10, 2026 at Little Flower Catholic Church beginning at 10:00 a.m. with the the Funeral Mass being celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Entombment will follow at Toledo Memorial Park where full military honors will be performed.
