Harry P. Schulman

Harry P. Schulman, age 94 years, passed away on Friday November 4, 2022 at Kingston of Sylvania. He was born in Toledo on July 25, 1928 to Jacob and Anna (Shuman) Schulman. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Harry worked as a civilian for the U.S. government in the Detroit, MI. arsenal in military foreign sales, retiring after 37 years of service in October of 1983.He was a longtime member of the Congregation Etz Chayim and it's Men's Club. He was also a member and Past Commander of the former Goodman Goldstein VFW #6909. Harry volunteered his time to many different causes including his synagogue and Kingston of Sylvania prior to becoming a resident there. In retirement he had worked as a guard at the Toledo Museum of Art and was a longtime member of the Old Newsboys.Harry was preceded in death by his wife, Harriet (Klatzel) in 1982 and his brother, Ailon Shiloh; sister, Hilda Latez and step-brothers, Max, Nate and Meyer Davis. 

Surviving is his daughter, Nancy (Mark) Reardon; sister, Bonnie Ross and granddaughters, Sara (Steven) Schairbaum, Rachel (Jeff) Teubl and Michelle (Andrew) Geise as well as many nieces and nephews.

Services and interment will be held at 12 noon on Sunday November 6, 2022 at Beth Shalom Cemetery, Oregon, Ohio.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Congregation Etz Chayim.
