Jeffrey L. Tillman

Jeffrey L. Tillman, 67, of Toledo, Ohio passed away peacefully on June 23rd, 2023 with his loving family at his side. 

Jeffrey was born on July 28, 1955 in Toledo, OH to Carlisle and Rita Tillman. 

Jeffrey lived a full life, having spent his early years at home under the care of his loving parents, and his later years under the wonderful care of his second family at NODC in Toledo. He worked at Lott Industries, a job he loved to go to, having just retired a few short months ago. Jeffrey loved to dance, laugh and hold tight to quarters in his hand. More than anything though, he loved his Diet Coke and peppermints.  

Jeffrey is survived by his loving siblings, Tim (Jackie) Tillman of Monclova, Terry (Loretta) Tillman of Largo, FL, Sandy Tillman of Toledo, Pam (Tim) Adams of Sylvania and David Tillman of Holland. Jeffrey is also survived by many nieces and nephews with the fondest memories of him, as well as his second family, the incredible staff at NODC. Jeffrey was graciously greeted in heaven by his Grandma, Jane Przeslawski, Grandparents Robert and Clarissa Tillman, parents Carlisle and Rita Tillman, and brother Gary L. Tillman. 

Jeffrey’s life celebration and burial will both be private. 

In remembrance of Jeffrey, the family asks that any charitable donations be made to Northwest Ohio Development Center at 1101 S. Detroit Ave. Toledo, OH 43614. 

The family wishes to express their deepest gratitude to the staff at NODC who loved Jeffrey as their own.
