Jerome Lawrence Levison, age 88 years, passed away on September 29, 2025. He was born in Toledo, Ohio on January 31, 1937 to Aaron and Rose (Cousins) Levison. A graduate of DeVilbiss High School, he attended the University of Michigan and the University of Toledo where he graduated with a Bachelors degree in Business Administration.
Jerry owned Lewis Avenue hardware store for several years and worked in operations as a manager for Kripke- Tuschman, OmniSource and Waste Management. Along with his wife Ann, he spent many winters in Ft. Myers, Florida as well as traveling around the world.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his son Bruce Levison and brother and sister-in-law Ira and Kathy Levison.
Surviving is his wife of 66 years, Ann (Fingerhut) Levison; sister Gail (Leon) Kwait; sons David (Amy) Levison and Michael (Jill) Levison and daughter-in-law, Debra Levison.
Also surviving are grandchildren, Ian (Ilona) Levison, Ben (Leslie) Levison, Sarah (Chris) Bianco, Mandy (Kevin) Thome, Elayna (Noah) Saunders, Avi (Fiance Ella O'Rourke) Levison, Alexa Levison, Jayce Levison, TJ McCready and Andie (Tim) Smith and seven great grandchildren.
The family would like to extend their thanks to the Kingston Residence of Sylvania and Hospice of NW Ohio. In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to the Congregation Etz Chayim of Toledo.
Services and interment will be held on Friday, October 3, 2025 at 10:30 a.m. in Beth Shalom Cemetery 420 Otter Creek Rd. Oregon, Ohio.
