Joan S. (Mominee) Lochbihler

Joan S. (Mominee) Lochbihler, age 88, died Tuesday, March 2, 2021, in her Bon Aqua, TN, home. Joan was born in Erie, MI, on August 25, 1932, to Charles and Dorothy (Morrin) Mominee. She graduated from Monroe High School (Monroe, MI) in 1950 and worked at Dana Corporation (Toledo, OH) and in various education-related positions in Bedford Public Schools (Temperance, MI), Austin Independent School District (Austin, TX) and Williamson County Schools (Franklin, TN), before retiring.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Marion; and 10 siblings, Clayton, Jeannette, Raymond, Rose, Marie, Robert, Wayne, Norman, Rita, and Charles. Surviving are her children, Charlene M. (David J.) Czerniak, Mark, Scott, and Tom (Olga) Lochbihler; and grandchildren, Nicholas, Christopher (Jennifer), Gray, Diana, Brody, and Dash.

Private family services have been entrusted to the Thomas I. Wisniewski Funeral Home (419-531-4424). Interment Toledo Memorial Park, Sylvania, OH.
