John A. Ignat of Toledo Ohio passed away on Wednesday, November 6th. He was born on August 11,1945 in Toledo Ohio, a memorial (celebration of life) will take place on Saturday, November 23rd, 2024, from 1pm to 4pm at 25450 Fostoria Road Genoa, Ohio 43430 (in the barn).

After graduation from Ohio State University, John served in the army for three years including one year in Vietnam. He was honorably discharged with the rank of captain. He returned to Toledo to hold various jobs over the years including executive recruiter. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and raising dogs. His most favorite memories were spending time with his father camping and fishing on Drummond Island in Michigan as a child.

He is survived by his wife Mary Ann (Gray) of 56 years, daughter Bonnie Jean (Jason), Son Robert George (Angela), grandchildren Sonia (Grant), Kaitlin (Dawson), Emilio (Danielle), Miranda, great-grandson Oliver plus sister Bonita Krochmalny with special nephew Matt and special niece Amy.
