Lawrence "Larry or Butch" Emery, Sr., passed away October 5, 2022, at 6:20 a.m. with his children by his side. He is survived by his daughter, Margarette Anne Emery Webster (Brian Webster); grandson, Andrew Emery; granddaughter, Rebekah Farmer (Patrick Farmer); grandsons, Charles and Jeremy Webster; his son, Lawrence Emery, Jr.; granddaughter, Taylor Harris (Sam Harris); and his daughter-in-law of the heart, Michelle Gaston; grandson of the heart, Liam Gaston; former daughter-in-law, Briana Emery; his siblings, Paula Armitage, Ken Emery, William Emery. He leaves a multitude of friends and loved ones that he influenced and cherished. He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Rose Emery; his brother, Robert Emery; his nephew, Kenny Emery.
Larry Sr. enjoyed boating, restoring classic cars, building model trains, and spending time with his loved ones. He was in the Navy and worked as an auto technician at various Toledo businesses. He was a member of the Power Squadron, and the Riverview Yacht Club where he served as an officer. Larry loved sitting on his patio enjoying his flower garden on sunny days, bossing his children and being "old, tired, and grumpy."
Donations to the American Lung Association and memorial tree planted in Larry's honor requested. Services were held on Saturday, October 8, 2022, at the Thos. I. Wisniewski Funeral Home.
