Loree Cooper, age 98, passed away on Friday September 23, 2022 at Advanced Health Care Center in Toledo. She was born on May 3, 1924 in Greenville, South Carolina to Andrew and Florence (Thompson) Hombolt. Loree had worked as a housekeeper for many years for the President of the former Toledo Trust Co. She had been involved with many church activities over the years and her last membership was with Payne Memorial AME Church, where she served on the Mothers Board.

She was preceded in death by her husband William Cooper in 1986.

Surviving is her nephew, Columbus "Troy" Thompson; niece, Deborah Perez (fiancee Dennis); and nephew, Julius Brewster (wife Tyann); and a host of other nieces and nephews.

The family will receive guests on Thursday September 29, 2022 beginning at 11:00 a.m. in the Thos. I. Wisniewski Funeral Home 2426 North Reynolds Rd. Toledo, OH. 43615 where services will start at 12 noon. Pastor Rose Russell will officiate. Interment will follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
