Louis W. Sanders

Louis W. Sanders, 81, of Ottawa Hills, passed away peacefully at home on February 23, 2024.

Louis was born on October 22nd, 1942, to Harry and Shirley (Kaplan) Sanders in Indianapolis, IN. After Louis graduated from Scott High School in 1961, he went on to have several job opportunities but spent most of his life as an insurance agent with different organizations.

Louis is predeceased by his parents, Harry and Shirley (Kaplan) Sanders. He is survived by his loving wife, Cathy, of 40 years. Survived by brother, Nathan (Merilyn) Sanders; son, Eric (Jodi) Sanders; daughter, Julie (Andrew) Roth; son, Evan (Paulina) Sanders; and son, Justin Sanders. Survived by 7 grandchildren: Rachel, Benjamin, Alexander, Ian, Bailee, Jayda, and Kaden. Along with his extended family: stepson, John Arndt; stepdaughter, Christine (Doug) Blackmore; and 3 step granddaughters, Allison, Ella, and Lily.

Services will be held at Wisniewski and Wick Funeral Home, 2426 N. Reynolds Road, Toledo, Ohio 43615, on February 29th, from 11am-1pm with burial following at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a contribution to your charity of choice in his honor.
