Lowell W. King Obituary


Lowell W. King was born November 14,1937 in Toledo Ohio to parents Madeline and Phillip King. He passed away peacefully on January 8, 2021. Lowell was a loving husband and father, and was loved by many family and friends. After graduating from Macomber High School In 1955 with a graphics major, he enlisted into the United States Navy with a final ending rank of Chief Petty Officer.

After retiring from the military in 1977 he started his post military career working at the Toledo Blade in the print shop. After retiring from the Toledo Blade he became a bus driver for the Sylvania City School System.

Lowell has been an active member of St. Andrews Episcopal Church. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Dr. Nelson King. Lowell is survived by his wife, Patricia Errington King; and his son, Lowell Arthur King.

The family will receive friends on Thursday January 14, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. in the Thos. I. Wisniewski Funeral Home, 2426 North Reynolds Rd. Toledo, OH. 43615. A graveside service with full military honors will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
