Marvin Damrauer Obituary

Marvin Damrauer, age 94, died on December 14, 2020 after a short illness. He was born in Toledo, Ohio in 1926 to Alfred and Bessie Damrauer. A WW II veteran, Marvin served in the Pacific Theater as part of the Army Air Corp. Following the War, he returned to Toledo to raise his family and start his lifelong career in the produce industry. Marvin loved spending time with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as his daily workouts with his friends at St. Luke's and later Wildwood Fitness.

Marvin was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy to whom he was married for 71 years. He is survived by his children, Gary (Ilene), Tom (Diane) and Carol (Jack); three grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Marvin's family would like to acknowledge the entire Kalniz family for their continuous love and support, as well as, Promedica Ebeid Hospice Residence for their exceptional care.

Private services have been held. Contributions may be sent to the American Heart Association or the SeaGate Food Bank.
