Marvin John Schultz was born to Marvin A. and Clara (Metzger) Schultz on February 1, 1939 in Toledo, Ohio. He was the only child of this union. John passed away on Christmas morning at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg, Ohio. John grew up on the east side and attended Macomber High School, majoring in art, which led to a life of working with wood and becoming a recognized award winning woodcarver and furniture maker. He also loved to hunt and fish.
He is survived by his spouse, Amy; sons, Dennis, Dean and Danny (Adrianne) Schultz; and grandchildren, Tyler, Samantha, Alexis and Drake (Megan). Also surviving is his brother, Jack Schultz. He was preceded in death by his parents; and grandson, Cameron. John's wish was there would be no services.
He was a blessing to all who knew him.
