Mary M. Mick

With great sorrow and bittersweet gratitude, we (Kathleen and Kellie) announce the passing of our kind, caring and unimaginably generous mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, niece, cousin and friend, Mary Margaret Mick. Mary died unexpectedly on February 26, 2023, with her family by her side. Mary was born in Toledo, Ohio, on March 20, 1954. Mary's core was helping and loving others. She demonstrated her love and generosity through reading to the blind, helping family and friends with transportation, teaching Catechism classes, sewing, volunteering at parish festivals, and inviting friends to share a meal and life stories.

Preceding her in death are her mother, Elizabeth Gozdowski; father, Charles Gozdowski; and brother, Michael. Mary is survived and missed by her daughters, Kathleen Mick and Kellie Jones. She is cherished forever by her grandson, Asher. Remembered by siblings and her family, Loretta, Patrick, Barb, James (Velma), Bernadette (Ernest); cousins; nieces; nephew; countless friends; and connections made through school (Our Lady of Lourdes and Rogers High School), Daughters of Mary at Our Lady of Lourdes, the community at SS. Peter and Paul and Wolf Creek Assisted Living.

Friends and family are welcome to visitation on Thursday, March 2nd, at 12:00 p.m. at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 738 S. St. Clair Street, followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 1:00 p.m. with interment following at Resurrection Cemetery.
