Philip B. Shinaver, Jr., age 65, passed away Wednesday October 6, 2021, at Flower Hospital. He was born in Toledo, Ohio, on December 30, 1955, to Philip B. and Nancy (Bee) Shinaver, Sr. Philip was an iron worker with Local 55 and eventually started his own business, Drew Cartage, which he continued to operate today. He was a member of Little Flower Catholic Church.
Surviving is his wife, Karen A. (Baumann) Shinaver and their sons, Daniel (Kristen) and Kevin (Emily) Shinaver; his mother, Nancy Shinaver; siblings, David (Julie) Shinaver, Pam Shinaver and Keith (Angi) Shinaver. Also surviving are grandchildren, Kelly, Warren, Lindy and Everly.
He was preceded in death by his father and twin grandsons, Jameson and Jackson.
The family will receive friends from 3:00 until 7:00 p.m. Sunday, October 10, 2021, in the Thos. I. Wisniewski Funeral Home, 2426 N. Reynolds Rd., Toledo, OH 43615. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Monday, October 11, 2021, at Little Flower Catholic Church, where the family will receive friends beginning at 9:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
