Rosemary A. Reeve, 82, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 27, 2023, at Sunset House. She was born on September 4, 1940, to Frank and Harriet Biskupski (Bishop) and was a long-time resident of Toledo, OH. Rosemary attended Little Flower grade school and Central Catholic, later graduating from Rogers High School in 1958, and then Davis Business College. After beginning her career with Teamsters Local 20 for many years, she moved on to the behavioral health field, serving in the role of receptionist and medical secretary for Ruth Ide Mental Health Center, then Unison, retiring after over 23 years.
Rosemary was best known for her clever sense of humor and ability to make people laugh. She had a unique skill in delivering unexpected, witty one liners and excelled at the art of pulling off a good practical joke. Rosemary also loved to share her gift of gab through engaging others in interesting conversations spanning many topics. A very creative lady, she was also known for her artistic abilities and talents as a poet. Throughout her life, she worked toward the completion of her own book of poems that reflected a variety of different themes and was often read aloud and shared with others. As a Polish mother and cook, Rosemary spent many hours in the kitchen and always made sure that no one left her house hungry. Everyone always left with delicious "to go" meals in hand after a big meal. She perfected the art of cooking the best tasting kielbasa and other Polish family recipes by adding plenty of unique, flair, making each dish her own, special gourmet creation.
The Catholic faith was very important to Rosemary and, for years, she enjoyed participating in the Prayer chain ministry at Little Flower Parish. Her caring spirit will be missed.
