Ruth J. Clemens, 88, of Port Clinton, passed away January 27, at Edgewood Manor Care Center, Port Clinton. She was born November 23, 1932 in Lafayette, TN, the daughter of Oscar and Ola (Pritchett) Smith. She married Cecil L. Clemens on December 10, 1960 and he and her parents preceded her in death. She was a member of Lewis Ave. Baptist Church, Temperance, MI and worked for both The University of Toledo in the bookstore and for The Lions store Toledo, OH during the holidays.
Ruth's greatest joy was her family and surviving are her son, Kenneth (Barbara) Clemens of Port Clinton; daughter, Kathryn Clemens of Toledo, OH.; five grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
