Sandra J. (Wielinski) Ruehle

Sandra J. Ruehle, age 80, died at home in Toledo, OH on Wednesday, December 21, 2022. Born in Toledo, OH, the daughter of Albert and Alexandra Wielinski. She was married to the love of her life, Thomas Ruehle of Toledo, who passed in 2011. 

Sandy was an amazing seamstress for over 65 years and worked tirelessly for others. She volunteered at St. Anne's Hospital and Christ the King Church and many other ministries. She blessed her family and everyone she knew with her conversation, amazing food, and great love. No one left her house hungry. Sandy was humble to a fault and will be surprised when she looks down and sees the number of lives she touched and how many people will miss her. 

Surviving are her sister, Patricia (William) Fernow; daughters, Kathleen (Gregory) Fitzgerald, Linda (Michael) Zierolf; son, Randy Ruehle; and grandchildren, Jeremy, Naythan, Isaiah, Macy, Maria, and Charlie. 

Preceding her in death was her brother, David (Connie) Wielinski; and her grandson, Kenyon Zierolf. 

Family and friends are welcome to attend a viewing on Tuesday, December 27 at 9:30 a.m. at Christ the King Catholic Church in Toledo, OH and continue with a celebration of the Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m.

Interment Toledo Memorial Park.
