Sherrylynn Marie (Folta) Taylor

Sherrylynn Taylor, of Cranberry Township, PA danced to heaven on May 7, 2018 after a long and courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by family under hospice care. Sherry had the ability to light up a room with her grace and smile, always thought of others first, but most of all, she loved and was devoted to her family.

Born on December 17th, 1958 to Patricia and Richard Folta, in Toledo, OH. She married Victor "Skip" Taylor, on October 24th, 1981 in Toledo, after meeting at Owens Corning. With kids in tow, they lived in Sylvania, Dublin, Doylestown, and most recently Cranberry Township, PA and were married for a loving 37 years.

Former dancer with the Echoes of Poland and International Festival Queen, Sherry loved her family, had a passion for miniature schnauzers, Ohio State football, and enjoyed traveling with family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard Folta and Patricia (Lukasik) Folta; and stepmother, Francis (Joyce) Gajewski. Surviving are her husband Victor; their three children, Sean, Stacey and Christopher; sister, Susan Snyder; and five grandchildren, Kennedy, Cameron, Jorie, Colin, and William Taylor. All will dearly miss her.

Services will begin on Friday, May 11th from 2–8 p.m. at the Thomas I. Wisniewski Funeral Home, 2426 N. Reynolds Road, Toledo, OH and continuing on Saturday morning with an in state starting at Rosary Cathedral at 10:00 a.m., followed by a mass at 11:00 a.m., burial at Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
