Stanley Bernard Linver, 71, passed away quietly in his sleep on October 25, 2023. He was born on March 10, 1952 to Dr. Michael Linver and Bella Linver, both of blessed memory.
Stan attended Ottawa Hills High School where he was class salutatorian. He went on to earn his Masters Degree in Education as well as his Juris Doctor Degree from the University of Toledo.
He worked as an intern for Senator John Glen and went on to hold a number of positions working for the disabled and promoting a number of environmental and humanitarian causes.
He was a devoted son, brother, and uncle. He loved spending time with his family including his sister, Marsha Girson and husband David, their children Steve Girson and wife Paige, Bonnie Girson and fiance' Ian Weiner, and Lauren Girson and fiance' Charlie Fisher.
He also loved going for long walks at Wildwood with his dog, Max. Stan will be remembered for his sharp sense of humor, his love of sports, especially the University of Michigan Football Team, and kind soul. He supported a number of various charities. A memorial will be held at the Robert H. Wick/Wisniewski Funeral Home, Friday, October 27, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. followed by graveside service and burial at 12:00 p.m. at Beth Shalom Cemetery, 420 Otter Creek Road, Oregon, Ohio.
