Susan Glick Moskowitz passed away Tuesday, October 9 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg. Sue was born January 18, 1954 in Toledo to Al and Ella Glick. Sue graduated from Sylvania High School in 1972. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Special Education from Ohio University and her Master's Degree in School Counseling from the University of Toledo. Sue worked for Toledo Public Schools for 35 years, retiring in 2011, first as a Special Education teacher, and then as an Elementary School Counselor. In retirement, Sue enjoyed traveling all over the world. She considered herself very lucky to have a wonderful life with amazing family, dedicated friends, and fantastic co-workers in a career that she cared so deeply about.
Surviving are her husband of 41 years, Steven; daughter, Erin; brother, Geoffrey (Barbara) Glick; and many adored nieces and nephews. Sue was preceded in death by her father and mother, Al and Ella Glick.
Susan's family would like to express heartfelt thanks to the fabulous, caring staff at Hospice of Northwest Ohio for the exceptional care that Sue received. Above all, the welfare of children was of utmost importance to Sue. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her honor to Nationwide Children's Hospital Behavioral Health at www.nationwidechildrens.org, the National Alliance on Mental Illness at www.nami.org, or another charity of the donor's choice.
Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 12, 2018 in the Robert H. Wick/Wisniewski Funeral Home, 2426 North Reynolds Rd., (419) 535-5840. Interment Beth Shalom Cemetery, Oregon, OH.
The family will receive friends at their home beginning at 2:00 p.m. on Friday through Sunday.
