Virgil Brian Kazmierski, age 73, of West Toledo, passed away on April 18, 2022, in his home. He was born in Toledo on January 18, 1949, to Theophil and Gertrude (Tylicki) Kazmierski. Virgil graduated from Start High School and attended Bowling Green State University. He was an avid music enthusiast, performing as a drummer for several bands, including the Charistics. Virgil retired after many years of service at Flower Hospital.

Surviving are his sister, Janet Fiedler of Irvine, CA; his brother-in-law, Larry; his niece, Julie Fiedler; his niece, Kristen Fiedler; and nephew-in-law, Kevin Staight.

The family will receive family and friends on Thursday, May 5, 2022, from 2:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the Thos. I. Wisniewski Funeral Home, 2426 North Reynolds Rd., Toledo, OH. 43615, with a Rosary/prayer vigil at 7:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, May 6, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Regina Coeli Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
