Warren Bookman, age 86, of Toledo, Ohio passed away on Wednesday February 2, 2022. He was born in Toledo on April 29, 1935, to Herman and Sadie (Illman) Bookman. Warren graduated from DeVilbiss High School in 1953, attended The Ohio State University, and was a member of the Air National Guard. A longtime lover of hot rod cars, Warren created and produced Auto-Rama custom car shows in Toledo, and across the country for over 50 years. He owned and operated retail stores in Toledo and the greater Ohio area.
Warren is survived by his wife of 59 years, Sandy (Cohen); children, Mark (Mary), Lori Herrick, and Eydie; grandchildren, Corinn, Jack (Hannah), and Jesse (Fernanda) Herrick; sister, Carol; nieces, Stacy and Andi Cohen; and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his sons-in-law Robert Lewis and Guil Herrick.
Graveside services and interment will be held on Sunday, February 6th at 10:30 a.m., at Beth Shalom Cemetery, Oregon Ohio.
