William B. Tiep

William B. Tiep, age 81, passed away on Thursday, October 7, 2021. He was born in Cleveland, Ohio, on June 12, 1940, to Abraham "Al" and Jeanne (Kaplan) Tiep. A graduate of Macomber High School and he received an associate's degree from the University of Toledo Com Tech. With a love for computers and their technology, Bill had a career as a computer programmer for many years with Owens-Illinois and First Federal Bank. He was known by many for his humor, he enjoyed bringing humor to people's lives. He also was known for his giving nature, always wanting to give rather than receive. During his final days he expressed he is leaving his legacy through his daughters and grandchildren, who were the light of his life.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Robin R. Tiep, parents Abraham (Al) and Jeanne Tiep and his sister Ruth Erlich.

Surviving are his daughters, Susan Hartman (Eric Glomski) and Jennifer Jackson; grandchildren, Amanda Hartman, Hailey, Hannah, and AJ Jackson; and his step-grandchildren, Jacob and Lucas Glomski.

Bill's family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to all those who have cared for him over the past year: Kelly Viertlebeck, Shannon Skidmore, Rick Krasula, MG Wood, Dweena Shulters, Cathy McVicker and the exceptional staff on the 5th floor at U.T.M.C.
