William Franklin "Bill" Skahill, Jr.

William Franklin "Bill" Skahill, age 82, of West Toledo died Saturday June 11, 2022 at the Cleveland Clinic. Bill was born in Toledo on June 4, 1940 to William F. and Myrtle Skahill. He had worked for 35 years with the city of Toledo in the Streets, Bridges and Harbors division. 

Bill enjoyed Nascar and spending the Summer months at the cottage at Manistee Lake. He was an avid fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes, the Detroit Lions and the Cleveland Guardians. 

He was preceded in death by his son Todd, brother Sam and sister Donna DeCant.

Surviving is his wife of 30 years, Carol C. (Pollick) Skahill, daughter LaRay (Kerry) Eberhardt, son Michael (Shonda) Skahill, five grandchildren, one great grandchild and his canine companion, Corey.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday June 15, 2022 at the Thos. I. Wisniewski Funeral Home 2426 North Reynolds Rd. Toledo from 10:00 a.m. until the service time of 2:00 p.m. Entombment Toledo Memorial Park, Sylvania, Ohio.
